Shipping Policy

1. Shipping Methods & Costs

We offer several shipping options to meet your needs. Shipping costs are calculated based on the weight, dimensions, and destination of your order.

2. Processing Time

Orders are processed and shipped Monday through Friday (excluding holidays).

  • In-Stock Items: Orders placed before 2:00 PM PST ship the same business day
  • Orders After 2:00 PM PST: Ship the next business day
  • Weekend Orders: Orders placed Saturday-Sunday ship on Monday
  • Special Order Items: May require 1-3 additional business days

3. Shipping Carriers

We ship via the following carriers:

  • UPS - Most standard and expedited shipments
  • FedEx - Express and overnight shipments
  • USPS - Small packages and P.O. Box deliveries

The carrier is selected automatically based on your location, package size, and shipping method chosen at checkout.

4. Shipping Locations

4.1 Domestic Shipping (United States)

We ship to all 50 states, including:

  • Continental US: Standard rates apply
  • Alaska & Hawaii: Additional shipping charges may apply
  • P.O. Boxes: Available via USPS only
  • APO/FPO/DPO: Military addresses supported

4.2 International Shipping

We currently ship to select international destinations. International shipping:

  • Delivery times: 7-21 business days (varies by country)
  • Shipping costs calculated at checkout
  • Customs fees, duties, and taxes are the responsibility of the recipient
  • Some products may be restricted for international shipping

5. Order Tracking

Once your order ships, you will receive:

  • A shipping confirmation email with your tracking number
  • Real-time tracking updates via email
  • Access to track your order in your account dashboard

Track Your Order: Log into your account and visit the "Order History" section, or click the tracking link in your shipping confirmation email.

6. Delivery Estimates

Important: Delivery estimates are approximate and not guaranteed. Transit times begin after the order has shipped and do not include processing time.

Factors that may affect delivery time:

  • Weather conditions and natural disasters
  • Carrier delays or high shipping volumes
  • Incorrect or incomplete shipping address
  • Customs delays (for international orders)
  • Holidays and weekends

7. Shipping Address

Please ensure your shipping address is correct before completing your order. We cannot change the shipping address after an order has been processed.

  • Double-check your address for typos
  • Include apartment/unit numbers if applicable
  • Provide a phone number for delivery notifications
  • Ensure someone is available to receive the package

We are not responsible for orders delivered to incorrect addresses provided by the customer.

8. Signature Requirements

Signature may be required for:

  • Orders over $500
  • High-value automotive parts
  • Certain sensitive or hazardous materials
  • Deliveries to areas with high theft rates

If no one is available to sign, the carrier will leave a notice and attempt redelivery or hold the package for pickup.

9. Damaged or Lost Packages

9.1 Damaged Packages

If your package arrives damaged:

  1. Do not discard the packaging
  2. Take photos of the damaged box and contents
  3. Contact us immediately at cs@apartsconnect.com
  4. We will file a claim with the carrier and send a replacement or issue a refund

9.2 Lost Packages

If your tracking shows delivered but you haven't received your package:

  1. Check with neighbors or household members
  2. Look around your property (porches, garages, mailboxes)
  3. Contact your local carrier's office
  4. Wait 24-48 hours (sometimes marked delivered early)
  5. Contact us if you still can't locate your package

We will investigate with the carrier and provide a replacement or refund if the package cannot be located.

10. Refused or Undeliverable Packages

If a package is returned to us as undeliverable:

  • We will contact you to verify your address
  • You may request a refund minus return shipping costs
  • You may request reshipment at your expense
  • Original shipping charges are non-refundable

Packages refused by the recipient will be charged return shipping and a 15% restocking fee.

11. Large or Heavy Items

Some automotive parts are oversized or heavy (engines, transmissions, bumpers, etc.):

  • May ship via freight carrier
  • Additional shipping charges will apply
  • Freight shipping may require 1-3 additional business days
  • Delivery to a business address may reduce shipping costs
  • Liftgate service available for an additional fee

Contact us before ordering large items to discuss shipping options and costs.

12. Hazardous Materials

Some automotive products contain hazardous materials (batteries, aerosols, fluids):

  • Cannot be shipped via air (overnight/express may not be available)
  • May require ground shipping only
  • Additional hazmat fees may apply
  • Cannot be shipped internationally in most cases
  • Alaska and Hawaii shipments may be restricted

13. Order Changes and Cancellations

Before Shipment:

  • Contact us immediately to change or cancel your order
  • We will do our best to accommodate if the order hasn't been processed

After Shipment:

  • Orders cannot be changed or cancelled once shipped
  • You may refuse delivery or follow our return process
  • Return shipping costs and restocking fees may apply

14. Holidays and Peak Seasons

During holidays and peak seasons, shipping may be delayed:

  • We do not ship on major U.S. holidays
  • Carrier services may be limited during holidays
  • Peak season (November-December) may have longer transit times
  • Order early during the holiday season

15. Insurance

All shipments are automatically insured up to $100. For orders over $100, full insurance is included at no extra charge. We handle all insurance claims on your behalf in case of loss or damage during transit.
